of goods and commercial trailers come with fully galvanised

transporters and heavy plant trailers are packed with

WESSEX
UNBRAKED GOODS TRAILERS
Widely
recognised as one of the strongest and most durable ranges
of unbraked trailers on the market. Based on our industrial
/ commercial range, both the UBT model illustrated and the
ATV model (see below) incorporate folded and profiled steel
sides, which are fully welded for maximum strength. The
complete chassis and body is hot-dip galvanised

WESSEX ATV / GOODS TRAILERS
The
design is based on our industrial / commercial range
which incorporates folded and profiled steel sides
which are fully welded to create, in effect, a
monocoque chassis. This is then subject to a
hot-dipped galvanising process for extended life.
The ATV series are non-braked with a maximum gross
weight of 750Kg
(subject to
vehicle manufacturers recommended non-braked towing
limit).

GOODS TRAILERS
The Wessex WG Series of
Goods Trailers are designed, engineered and
manufactured for robust and rugged industrial and
commercial applications. Constructed of the finest
quality components and fittings these trailers have
a proven record of reliability and durability and
are generally recognised as amongst the strongest in
the market place.
The chassis design incorporates folded and profiled
2.5mm steel sides, box section cross member supports
and folded draw bar which are fully welded to
create, in effect, a monocoque chassis. This is then
subjected to a hot-dipped galvanising process for
extended life. The Bradley cast coupling, Avonride
softride suspension system and chassis design
combine for safe towing and stability either laden
or unladen.
The Wessex Goods is an extremely popular and
practical trailer available in single and twin axle
versions together with a variety of optional extras. |

WESSEX PLANT TRAILERS
The
Wessex DT Series of Plant / Digger Trailers is
engineered and manufactured for professional use.
These robust and durable trailers offer a versatile
option for transporting a variety of plant and
equipment safely. Constructed of the finest quality
components and fixings these trailers have a proven
record of long lasting reliability and are generally
recognised as amongst the strongest in the market
place.
The chassis design incorporates either folded and
profiled 2.5mm steel sides or 4mm folded sides on
the DT20 and DT35, together with box section cross
members and folded drawbar which are fully welded to
create in effect a monocoque chassis. This is then
subjected to a hot dipped galvanising process for

| WESSEX TIPPER
TRAILERS
The Wessex TP Series of Tipping Trailers is designed
and manufactured for professional use. These robust
and durable trailers offer a versatile transporter
for loose or bulky materials especially when a quick
unload is required. Optional mesh side extensions or
double height drop-sides can be specified for use
with low volume products such as bark or leaves.
The top and bottom chassis are both fully welded
with box-section cross-members and external rope
hooks and are hot-dip galvanised. The design keeps
the load height low and ensures strength without
excess weight; combined with Avonride full beam "Softride
Suspension" axles and Bradley cast coupling the TP
series provide for safe towing and stability whether
laden or unladen. Profiled aluminium drop-sides
offer exceptional longevity even with abrasive
loads.They increase payload and give unrestricted
access, making for quick and easy loading, even by
forklift truck. No wonder Wessex tippers have a
proven record of reliability and durability, leading

WESSEX PLATFORM
TRAILERS
The Wessex PL Series of Platform Trailers are
designed and manufactured for professional use.
These robust and durable trailers offer a versatile
option for transporting varied goods and equipment
especially when customised with options such as
Ramps, Mesh Sides, Ladder Rack etc. The optional
galvanised drop sides (in pressed steel for strength
and rigidity), give unrestricted access on 3 sides,
making for quick and easy loading, even by forklift
truck.
The taperline chassis of formed channel and
box-section cross-members (c/w rope hooks) is of
fully welded construction and hot-dip galvanised.
The design for strength without excess weight,
combined with Avonride full beam "Softride
Suspension" axles and Bradley cast coupling all add
up to safe towing & stability whether laden or
unladen. The Wessex PL series is available is sizes
ranging from 8' x 5' up to 18' x 6'6", with gross
weight capacities of 2000Kg, 2600Kg and 3500Kg |

A wide variety of
purpose-designed vehicle and plant transporters, from
lightweight fro carrying small cars through to heavy duty

The Wessex WVT
Series of Van Trailers are designed, and
manufactured for professional use. These light yet
robust and durable trailers offer a versatile
covered transporter for vulnerable and valuable
loads. Easy loading is enhanced by a choice of
conventional roller shutter door, barn doors or a
ramp tailgate, which is especially useful for
loading small vehicles & trolleys. Gas strut
assistance means shutting the ramps child-play.
The main chassis is fully welded and hot-dip
galvanised. The design of the alloy frame together
with 9mm GRP white panels (ideal for displaying
corporate identity) ensures strength without excess
weight. The combination of Avonride full beam "Softride
suspension" axles and Bradley cast coupling, GRP
Aerodynamic front and low centre of gravity helps
the WVT series lead the field for safe towing &
stability whether laden or unladen. Single axle
versions of the WVT series are available as 8' long
x 4' & 5' wide and are particularly suited to
minibuses where the long overhang exaggerates
drawbar vertical movement. The Wessex twin axle van
trailers offer greater payloads and come in 5 sizes;
8' x 4', 8' x 5', 10' x 5', 10' x 6' and 12' x 6'. |
